One Week Left to Apply for a DTC Sight
July 03, 11(IDEX Online News) – The Diamond Trading Company (DTC) on Friday advised all applicants for the DTC’s 2012-2015 Supplier of Choice contract period that there is just one week left to submit their completed Contract Proposal Questionnaires (CPQs).
The CPQs must be submitted via the DTC’s newsightholdercontract.com website by 23.59 (BST) on July 7.
This deadline applies to supply contracts in all locations -
The completed CPQs will be automatically routed to the Supplier of Choice Ombudsman who will review all CPQs to ensure that they do not contain excessive confidential information. Any excessive confidential information will be removed from the CPQs by the Ombudsman before they are passed to the DTC for scoring.
DTC assessors will then score each CPQ against a set of objective performance benchmarks that underpin the Sightholder Criteria. These scores will later be moderated by the DTC’s senior executive panel to ensure all assessors have taken a fair and consistent approach.
The DTC expects to announce the new Sightholders list in December.
“We have had a lot of interest in the new Sightholder contract," said DTC CEO Varda Shine. “The assessment criteria ensure that qualifying Sightholders operate to the highest professional standards and are best able to add sustainable value to, and drive demand for, the rough diamonds we sell.”
