Luk Fook Posts 14% Rise in China Store Sales

(IDEX Online News) - Luk Fook Holdings (International) Ltd posted a 14-percent rise in same-store sales in Mainland China in ‎the fourth fiscal quarter that ended March 31.

Same-store sales in its Macau and Hong Kong stores showed an even steeper increase in the first three months of this year – up 29 percent.

The Hong Kong-based company did not provide detailed same-‎store-sales figures for the entire company or total sales figures.

At the end of the first quarter, the jewelry retailer operated 944 licensed stores and 78 self-operated stores in Mainland China, 37 in Hong Kong, 9 in Macau, and four overseas.

Altogether the company has 1,072 stores around the world.
