The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for December 18, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – After a decline last week, there was a return to a large number of price changes in round diamonds, which were mostly negative, according to the IDEX Online Price Report.

In fancy shapes, after a rise in the number of price changes last week, there were relatively few changes, with most being in a downwards direction.

The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.23-0.29 cts unchanged
• 0.30-0.39 cts no changes
• 0.40-0.44 cts two increases in mid-colors and clarities
• 0.45-0.49 cts D / IF-VVS1 declines of 3%
• 0.50-0.69 cts a range of declines
• 0.70-0.79 cts M / VVS2 +2.5% to $2,050 p/c
• 0.80-0.89 cts overwhelmingly declining
• 0.90-0.99 cts many declines
• 1.00-1.24 cts a range of declines
• 1.25-1.49 cts several declines
• 2 cts a broad range of decliners
• 3 cts several declines in better colors and clarities
• 4 cts D-G/ IF declines of 3%
• 5 cts D-H / IF-VVS2 declines of up to 3%

• 0.23-0.29 cts unchanged
• 0.30-0.39 cts D-E / SI1-SI2 increases of 3%

• 0.70-0.79 cts two decliners
