Father and Son Shot Dead in Jewelry Raid

(IDEX Online) - A father and son were shot dead as they chased a robber from their jewelry store in Chicago, USA.
Police have named them as Faustino Alamo Dominguez, aged 63, and Luis Angel Alamo, aged 25.
They ran from their store, Joyeria Angelo's, in Little Village, after the raider grabbed jewelry at gunpoint on Saturday afternoon (8 November).
Surveillance video captures the moment when the gunman opens fire after a brief struggle on the busy West 26th Street, hitting both men multiple times.
A CBS News report says more than 20 shots were fired.
They died a short time later of their injuries at Mount Sinai Hospital. The suspect, described as wearing a Blackhawks hoodie and a mask, drove off in a white Maserati SUV.
The Jewelers' Security Alliance (JSA) and Cook Country Crime-Stoppers, in Chicago, are both offering rewards of $10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
In a GoFundMe post the family said: "On Saturday, November 8th, our family suffered an unimaginable tragedy.
"During a robbery at our family's jewelry shop, we lost two incredible souls father and son, Faustino and Luis Alamo.
"Luis (Angel) was a devoted new father whose heart was full of dreams for his growing family.
"Faustino was a loving husband, father, brother, and son who spent his life working hard to provide and care for those he loved."
