US Watch and Jewelry Sales: Signet Maintains Growth

(IDEX Online) - Signet Jewelers reported a 3.0 per cent increase in same-store sales (SSS) for the three months to 1 November 2025, marking continued momentum from prior quarters.
This is the best indicator we have at present on specialty sales of US watches and jewelry, as distinct from multi-line retailers.
The publication of US Department of Commerce figures has been delayed, despite the end of a 43-day federal government shutdown that halted data collection.
The department finally published its figures for September - a monthly fall of 0.7 per cent - but has yet to provide data for October or November, which we would usually expect to have by now.
