Another Rise for Richemont Jewelry Sales
May 25, 26
(IDEX Online) - Richemont saw another annual rise in jewelry sales, up 8% in FY26, although watch sales fell by 4%.
The Swiss luxury conglomerate delivered "strong sales growth and solid results" in the year to 31 March, with overall group sales up 4% to EUR 22.4 billion (USD 24.1 billion).
It reported "continued strength" at its jewelry maisons - including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati, Piaget and Vhernier - in line with another 8% increase during FY25.
Sales at its specialist watchmakers - A. Lange & Sohne, Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Piaget, Roger Dubuis and Vacheron Constantin - recovered somewhat from a 13% fall in FY25.
All regions contributed to jewelry growth, with particularly strong double-digit increases in the Americas, Japan, and the Middle East & Africa (led by the UAE), while Europe and Asia-Pacific also showed solid mid-single-digit to low-double-digit gains.
Management highlighted sustained momentum in the final quarter across jewelry and specialty watchmaking, noting that the positive trends seen earlier in the year accelerated rather than tapered off.
