Rapper Proposes with Ring Worth up to $2.5m

(IDEX Online) - US rapper and singer Post Malone, 31, has proposed to his girlfriend, stylist Christy Lee, with a huge diamond ring that sparked a frenzy of speculation.

The large oval-cut has been estimated at 10 to 17 carats and valued at between $1 million and $2.5 million.

Friends of the couple shared photos and videos from a celebration in Utah on August 19 showing Lee wearing the ring on her left hand, along with a veil and a "Bride to Be" sash.

The couple has been romantically linked since early 2025, according to multiple entertainment reports. Malone has a four-year-old daughter from previous fiancée Hee Sung "Jamie" Park.

Forbes estimates his 2025 earnings at $62 million, ranking him among the highest-paid musicians, driven largely by his stadium tour.

Olivia Landau, founder and CEO of The Clear Cut, told Page Six Style the center stone is 10 to 15 carats, set in a delicate yellow-gold solitaire band, and valued between $1 million and $2 million.

Katie Zimmerman, senior vice president of merchandising at Jared Jewelers and Diamonds Direct, said the diamond might be as large as 17 carats and could feature an old mine cut or another distinctive faceting style, with an estimated value between $1.5 million and $2 million.

Australian jeweler Nick Ireland told nine.com.au he believes the ring is a 15-carat elongated oval design that could be worth up to $2.5 million depending on cut and quality.
