Seven Diamond Companies at AWDC Pavilion in VicenzaOro

Seven Belgian diamond companies will be taking part in the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) pavilion at the VicenzaOro Charm show, to be held May 22-26.

The Antwerp diamond firms will use the opportunity to explore the possibilities offered by the European market, and will be holding a series of face-to-face meetings with representatives of companies from Italy as well as elsewhere on the continent, the organization said in a release Monday.

AWDC expressed optimism ahead of the trade show, saying that while Europe’s economic recovery is slow, “financial indicators point towards a positive trend, giving Belgian firms the confidence that this is the right time to invest in marketing in Europe.”

Organizers of the VicenzaOro fair say that more than 1,400 exhibitors will be display their summer collections and provide previews of their autumn-winter collections. Some 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the fair.

“Italy is the long-established heart of the jewelry business whose reputation rests on its high-quality and innovative jewelry design. Its perfect partners for the supply of diamonds for their jewelry are, therefore, companies from the diamond centre of Antwerp,” said AWDC CEO Freddy J. Hanard.
