Red Carpet Diamonds Auctioned at Whitney Benefit

Fred Leighton's rose-cut diamond pendant earrings, last seen on actress Hilary Swank at this year's Oscars, took center stage at a live auction at the Whitney Museum's May 8 celebration for "Where Fashion Meets Art." 

Fred Leighton's collection swept this year's 75th "Diamond" Anniversary of the Oscars, creating a sensation on Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Diane Lane, Kate Hudson, Hilary Swank and Heather Graham.
