Diamantaire William Goldberg, the man that has coined the phrase ‘The magic is in the make’ has passed away yesterday.

Goldberg founded his company, the William Goldberg Diamond Corporation, almost 50 years ago in New York and has created over the years a leading diamond manufacturing establishment later expanded to jewelry making as well.
A DTC Sightholder, Goldberg has polished a number of famous diamonds, including The Premier Rose, a 137-carat, D flawless pear shape diamond; the 89-carat, D flawless Guinea Star; and the 5.11-carat Red Shield, the largest fancy red ever certified by the GIA.
