Aber To Raise Prices of Rough Diamonds

Aber will raise prices on most articles at its allocation next week. The part owner of the Canadian Diavik diamond mine plans to raise prices on average by 4 percent across the board.

The price rise will not affect all articles, in fact prices will decrease for two or three articles in what the company calls a re-alignment of prices, a correction to better reflect current market value.

The rise in prices will be most noticed in the medium sized ($700) and bigger articles.
