Tiffany to Open Stores in Tokyo and Osaka
June 02, 04Tiffany & Co. announced plans for opening two new stores in Japan. The first store, expected to open in September, will be located in the Marunouchi area of Tokyo. In November, the luxury retailer will open a store in the Nishi-Umeda area of Osaka.
Both two-story stores will be approximately 700 square meters, will combine modern design elements, including a marble and stainless steel staircase, with architectural details of Tiffany's famous New York flagship store, including a granite facade and Atlas clock, along with stainless steel framed glass showcases and vitrines.
Among the array of exclusive designs offered will be the jeweler's diamonds in platinum and eighteen-karat gold settings, including Lucida®, Tiffany's patented diamond cut and setting, items designed by Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso and Jean Schlumberger; watches, including the classic Tiffany Mark(TM) watch collection and a selection of accessories and gifts.
The stores will also introduce customers to the latest Tiffany designs. These include the Atlas(TM) jewelry and watch collection and the Tiffany Mark(TM) T-57 timepiece.

“These exciting retail environments will be ideal for the new Tiffany stores we've planned, with spacious and glamorous interiors to showcase Tiffany's extraordinary designs, craftsmanship and quality and provide our customers with the highest levels of service.”
The new Tokyo and Osaka stores will bring the total number of Tiffany locations in Japan to 52.
