Gokhran Negotiating Rough Diamond Buy from Alrosa

Gokhran, the Russian state repository, is reportedly in the final stages of talks with Alrosa to buy 624,000 carats of rough diamonds worth an estimated $42.5 million.
According to news agency Interfax, a source in Gokhran said that for all intense and proposes the deal is sealed. “In fact, we only have to transfer money”.
Last year Gokhran bought 800,000 carats of rough diamonds from Alrosa for $51 million, and has the option to make additional purchases from diamond monopoly this year.
