JCPenney to Sell Charles & Colvard Moissanite Jewelry
October 06, 04Moissanite producer Charles & Colvard and JCPenney, one of America's largest department store, catalog and Internet retailers, have come together to offer the diamond substitute in a range of jewelry.
The collaboration makes JCPenney the only national retailer offering the lab-created jewel used in fine jewelry to its customers.
“Moissanite brings new meaning to the phrase ‘affordable luxury’,” said Beryl Raff, JCPenney Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager for Fine Jewelry. “It's the ideal choice for women who appreciate fine quality and expect exceptional value. It's a great way to reward yourself.”
The complete moissanite collection for women and men features rings, pendants, bracelets and earrings set in 14-karat yellow and white gold and is available in JCPenney’s 460 department stores as well as its catalogs and online.
Charles & Colvard is the sole maker of moissanite, a created jewel that is almost colorless and which the company claims has more fire, brilliance and luster than a fine diamond, but retails for a fraction of the cost.
