Dubai Diamond Exchange Director in Angola

Tawfic Farah, Executive Director of Dubai’s Diamond Exchange, is on a two day visit to diamond rich Angola. Farah is to meet with government officials, looking to forge ties and investment opportunities in the local diamond sector industry.

Farah is scheduled to meet with state Diamond Trading Society (SODIAM) officials and the Minister of Geology and Mining, Manuel Africano.

During the visit at SODIAM, he will get a tour of the sorting facilities and a future polishing facility.

SODIAM has recently opened a rough diamond sales office in Israel in partnership with the Lev Leviev Group. Another sales office is expected to open in Antwerp soon.
