Sarin Considering Singapore IPO
December 02, 04Sarin Technologies, the developers and manufacturers of advanced planning, evaluation, and measurement systems for diamond grading & gemstone manufacturing, is considering going public on the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

The company refused to comment, but according to reports in the Israeli press, the company has been acting in the past few months towards an IPO. Analysts valuated the company at around $40 million, saying Sarin expects to raise $10 – 15 million.
Established in 1989, Israeli based Sarin is the global leader with several smaller competitors in India, Russia and one in Israel. Its annual sales are estimated at $25 million.
Sarin products include cut grading tools (for round and fancy shapes), rough diamond optimization systems, gemology tools, diamond color grading, and laser marking machines.
