Whitehall Executive VP Resigns

Whitehall Jewellers Executive Vice President, Manny A. Brown, resigned last week. The announcement came on the heels of the nomination of Cindy Baier as the retailer’s President and Chief Operating Officer.

The resignation, effective December 17, is another in a string of personnel changes that plagued the company in the past year together with legal issues. No reason for Brown’s resignation was given.

Baier, the new President and COO of the company, will assume Brown’s duties for now.
