Lazare Kaplan Reports Soaring Diamond Sales

Lazare Kaplan today (Thursday) reported an 85 percent rise in net sales for the three months ended February 28 to $120 million from the year-earlier period as both polished and rough diamond sales rose. 

For the nine months ended February 28, net sales were $291.5 million, an increase of 70 percent.

Net income for the three and nine month periods was $1.1 million and $4.6 million, respectively compared to $0.8 million and $1.2 million.
