JVC to Release New Manufacturer’s Legal Handbook

The Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) will release the new Manufacturer’s Legal Handbook in Las Vegas during the JCK show, on June 5. The Handbook provides legal compliance information for jewelry manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers and designers.
The JVC is a not-for-profit legal trade association that offers dispute mediation and arbitration services for trade and consumers, compliance monitoring and precious metals testing, among many other services.
During a press conference scheduled to be held at the Sands, the association plans to release the handbook, which “supplies answers to questions and situations that come up in daily business activity and in legal disputes mediated by JVC”.
After the press conference, Ulla Wolff Assistant General Counsel will be available to answer questions about the handbook. Cecilia Gardner, JVC’s executive director and general counsel is available to answer questions about the handbook and to discuss legal compliance issues relating to the manufacturer, sale and advertising of fine jewelry.
