Whitehall Jewellers Delays Q2 Results

Whitehall Jewellers announced Friday that it is delaying its publication of its second quarter results. The company had originally scheduled the announcement of its results on September 1, 2005.

The company said it will provide advance notice of its expected announcement of second quarter results.

The last time Whitehall delayed publication of quarterly results was in April, a few days after Chairman and CEO Hugh Patinkin died.
