Neiman Marcus November Revenues up 6.6%
December 01, 05The Neiman Marcus Group reported total revenues in November rose 6.6 percent to $328 million. Comparable stores revenue climbed 4 percent to $318 million during the month.
In the four-week November period, comparable revenues in the Specialty Retail Stores segment, which includes Neiman Marcus stores and Bergdorf Goodman, increased 2.8 percent. Revenue growth trends were strongest in the company's stores in the United State’s Southeast and West Coast.
The strongest performing merchandise categories in the Specialty Retail Stores segment included women's contemporary sportswear and fine apparel, men's clothing and shoes, designer handbags and designer jewelry.
Comparable revenues at Neiman Marcus Direct increased 8.2 percent. The top selling merchandise categories in the Direct Marketing segment included jewelry, shoes, handbags, women's apparel, home decor, furniture and rugs.
The Neiman Marcus Group plans to report first quarter earnings on Thursday, December 8, 2005.
