Tiffany Plans Two New Locations in Japan

Tiffany & Co. plans to open two new locations in Japan this month. The approximately 1,500 gross-square-foot Yonago boutique will open on March 12 in the Takashimaya store. The approximately 2,900 gross-square-foot Mito boutique will open on March 17 in the Keisei department store.

The two new locations will combine modern design elements with architectural details of Tiffany's famous New York flagship store, including stainless steel framed glass showcases. Designs will include diamonds in platinum and 18 karat gold settings, fine and engagement jewelry, watches, sterling silver jewelry, and a selection of accessories and gifts.

Japan. “Mito's residents enjoy wonderful museums and a strong cultural heritage, and we think they will appreciate Tiffany's design heritage as well. In Yonago, Tiffany will be located in Takashimaya's welcoming retail setting, which is perfect for showcasing Tiffany's incomparable collections and providing customers with the highest level of service.”

The two new boutiques bring the total number of Tiffany's Japanese locations to 52.
