Dalumi Wins Outstanding Exporter to Japan Award

Dalumi was recently awarded an award for best exporter of diamonds to Japan in 2005. Dalumi's diamond exports to Japan totaled $20 million last year. The award was presented by The Israel-Japan Friendship Society and Chamber of Commerce.

Dalumi focuses on the Japanese market in two ways: the launch of jewel collections created in partnership with various major Japanese companies, such as the Franc Jour collection produced with Tokyo Pearl, and the supply of rough diamonds, which represents the most important element of the Dalumi business.

Yuval Kemp, director of marketing & business development at Dalumi, said, “Japan is viewed as one of the key markets for us. There are plenty of opportunities to develop and this is the main reason why we decided to increase our investment in Japan in 2005.”
