DTC Sponsors Middle East Reality Show

The Diamond Trading Company (DTC), the sales and marketing arms of De Beers, is sponsoring a fashion reality program currently running on Lebanese TV. The program coincides with the May 1 launch of the DTC's Rayana diamond sets. The four piece Rayana diamond set includes a necklace, set of earrings, ring, and bracelet.
In Mission Fashion, 10 apprentice designers and 10 apprentice models from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, Tunisia, Iraq, and Kuwait are living and working together in the hopes of being selected as a top model and top fashion designer. Like any other reality show, contestants are voted off each week until only one model and designer remain to claim their award.
"We were very keen to participate in this large scale event as it gives the opportunity to add beauty and glamour to the models by wearing extraordinary diamond sets, giving them a feeling of exclusivity and matchless glamour," Jonathan Chippindale, marketing director, DTC Gulf Markets told Al Bawaba.
