Alrosa Q2 Net Profits Rise to $97.5 million

Russian diamond miner Alrosa said Monday that its net profit rose to 2.6 billion rubles ($97.5 million) in the second quarter of the fiscal year; a 19.4 percent increase over the first quarter of the year.

Alrosa noted an increase in sales and revenues from its share in other ventures.
