New CIBJO Blue Books to Be Available Online

The new versions of the diamond, colored stones and pearls Blue Books will be available online in PDF format, downloadable from the CIBJO web site.

CIBJO approved updated versions of the three books during the CIBJO Congress held last month in Vancouver, Canada. Following the approval CIBJO received numerous requests for the new versions of the Blue Books.

While the changes in the new versions were approved, all three books still need another round or two of copy editing before they can be released, the organization says.

Roland Naftule, president of Sector III (Gem Materials, Trade and Laboratories), promised that his sector members will try their utmost to produce the documents by the end of September.
