Vicenzaoro Day Three
January 16, 07Jewelers at the Vicenzaoro show are continuing to report good business and diamond dealers are keeping their fingers crossed that by the end of the show business will pick up.
Italian jewelers were busy in their booths today, the third day of the show. The Israeli and Belgium diamond dealers located in the Diamond Avenue were wandering around their booths waiting for clients. Despite this, they did not express disappointment. According to a few of them, they are waiting for the last day of the show when the jewelry exhibitors, their strongest potential clients, will be less busy and come to the diamond booths.
In the meantime, many reported good new contacts, making the trip worthwhile.
Brisk business was especially obvious across the street from the main venue in the Palakiss Pavilion, where many non-Italian jewelry makers were located. These exhibitors are mainly from Thailand, Turkey, Hong Kong and India, specializing in silver and steel jewelry and semi precious gems.
