IGI to Showcase Two New Grading Reports at the JCK Invitational
February 04, 07The International Gemological Institute (IGI) will showcase its recently launched IGI Laboratory Grown Diamond Report as well as its brand-new IGI Journey Diamond Jewelry Passport at its booth at The JCK Invitational 2007 being held February 4-7 at the Hilton New York.
IGI launched the IGI Laboratory Grown Diamond Report last month in response to the increased availability of laboratory grown diamonds and increased demand from both its clients and the industry for this service.
The IGI Journey Diamond Jewelry Passport was created in support of Diamond Promotion Service’s efforts to promote Journey jewelry. The Journey Diamond Jewelry Passport is a modified Jewelry Identification Report.
The report provides a description of all diamonds contained in the jewelry item, including a component breakdown of the diamonds’ unique characteristics consisting of individual and total carat weight, measurements, shape, cut, finish, proportions, clarity, and color. Also, the identification, content, and weight of any precious metals are stated.
