Roberto Coin on New York’s’ Fifth Avenue

Italian jewelry designer Roberto Coin joined fashion magazine Vogue in a week long series of events, offering an early preview of spring 2007’s fashion designs. Roberto Coin took center stage on New York’s Fifth Avenue decorating the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York flagship store from January 31 thru February 4.

This was the first time in Saks Fifth Avenue’s history that a jewelry designer has displayed in the store-front windows.

Coin’s jewelry made an appearance on the runway at the Robert Wilson’s Voom Portriat’s, a runway preview of the spring fashion on January 31. On February 1, Coin and Vogue held a cocktail event to toast the week long tribute to fashion at Saks Fifth Avenue. During the event, guests had a chance to preview Coin’s newest jewelry straight from Vincenza.

Coin’s designs include his signature Appasionata Collection and the recent Cento Diamond Collection.
