DTC Second Largest Jewelry Advertiser in the Mid East

The Diamond Trading Company (DTC) is the Middle East’s second largest advertiser in the watches and jewelry category, second only to Rolex. The DTC spent more then $4 million on advertising, mostly on TV ads, in the region in 2006. Rolex spent $6.68 million on magazine and newspaper advertising in the Middle East.
According to MPP Arabia’s list of the top twenty spenders in Middle East media, Omega, Chopard, and Swatch follow in advertising spend. Watch brands dominated the list, making up three fourths of it, proving again that jewelry branded advertising does not match that of watches.
The figures do not include advertising in Israel.
