Sterling Jewelers Announces Staff Changes

Sterling Jewelers Inc., the largest specialty jewelry retailer in the U.S., announced Tuesday the promotions of five key members of its staff: Stephen Martz to Vice President of Regional Operations; Michael Molanare to Vice President of Regional Operations; David Bouffard to Vice President, Public Relations; Denise Olivieri Shaffer to Vice President of Corporate Treasury; and Jason Shaffer to Vice President, Supply Chain Management.

Akron, Ohio-based Sterling Jewelers operates 1,307 stores in 50 states and employs more than 17,000 associates. Sterling trades under national brands Kay Jewelers and Jared The Galleria of Jewelry, as well as regional names.

Sterling is the U.S. division of London-based Signet Group plc, the largest specialty jewelry retailer in the world.
