Europe in Israeli Diamantaires’ Sites at Basel

Israel’s diamond industry, hoping to expand sales to Europe, will be represented at April’s Basel show by dozens of companies as well as the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI).

“Europe is an important market for many Israeli manufacturers and exporters, and we believe that there is a great potential for future growth here. Our participation in BaselWorld underscores our keen interest in furthering our growth in these markets,” says IDI Chairman Moti Ganz.

Among the companies exhibiting are: Afic Diamonds Ltd., Australia Diamonds/Lady Heart Collection, Avi Paz Group, Benma Diamonds Ltd., Dalumi Group, Dany Avlas Diamonds, Fancy Diamonds, Fourever Concept, Gemstar-Eshed Diam, Jogdiam, Julius Klein – Eliaz Diamonds, Leo Schachter Diamonds, Moshe Namdar & Co., Novel Collection, Podicko Diamonds Ltd., Rachminov Diamond 1891, Royal Heart/Guy Hadad Diamonds, S. Juwal & Co., Supergem-Bloom Collection, Tzoffey’s Diam Ltd., and YEI-Yahalomei Espeka International Ltd.

IDI will hold a press conference April 13 at 8:45am in the Osaka- Samarkand Congress Room of the Basel Convention Center. The conference will include a presentation by IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar entitled “The Israeli Diamond Industry: Trends and Triumphs in a Sparkling Market.”

A panel discussion entitled “What’s New in Special Cuts” will feature representatives of three of Israel’s leading companies in this field: Guy Hadad Diamonds, Moshe Namdar, and Novel Collection.
