Rio’s Diamond CEO Takes BHP Position

Andrew Mackenzie, Rio Tinto’s Diamonds and Industrial Minerals CEO, will join BHP Billiton as group executive and chief executive Non Ferrous. Mackenzie will be a member of the Group Management Committee.

Mackenzie is replacing Marius Kloppers who stepped down October 1 this year.

Mackenzie, 50, has around 30 years working experience in minerals, metals, oil and gas.
