Baselworld Upgrades for 2008

World Watch and Jewelry Show Baselworld is undergoing a luxury upgrade for its 2008 installment. The upgraded format will feature more spacious jewelry halls as well as a revamped design scheme.

Building 3 will feature the newly refurbished “Hall of Impressions,” with an additional 8,500 sq meters of floor space, as well as a parallel area, the “Hall of Feelings.”

“Baselworld is a well-known showcase for over 95 percent of the Swiss watchmaking industry,” said show Director Sylvie Ritter. “Alongside watches, the jewelry sector continues to gain importance…Our commitment to representing the entire, international jewelry industry in Basel is therefore increasingly successful.”

The show will take place April 3-10, 2008.
