HRD and Malca-Amit to Hold Lab Link Reception in Israel Diamond Exchange

HRD Antwerp and its Israeli partner Malca-Amit will hold a special reception at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) on April 15 to mark the HRD Antwerp Lab Link service. The reception will be attended by IDE President Avi Paz and will feature an address by Israeli financial journalist Nehemia Shtrasler, who will speak about the state of the Israeli economy and the media.

A raffle will also be held at the reception, with two winners receiving 10 HRD Antwerp Diamond Lab certificates and three Malca-Amit Lab Links, transportation fees, to and from Antwerp.

HRD’s Lab Link to Israel was the first step in the lab’s expansion into the leading diamond trading centers outside of Belgium. HRD has since launched the service to Hong Kong and Mumbai.

Lab Link was launched in July 2007 and provides an office-to-lab pick-up and return certification service for the Israeli diamond sector. It gives diamond industry members located outside of Belgium direct access to HRD’s grading services. The service is also tailored for smaller and medium sized companies that send out parcels of limited size and even single stones.
