Avi Paz Elected WFDB President

Avi Paz, president of the Israel Diamond Exchange, has been elected president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses Tuesday, replacing Ernie Blom. In the past two years, he served as vice president of the WFDB.

Paz was elected on the second day of the WFDB Congress, held in Shanghai, China May 12-15.

Blom was elected vice president of the WFDB, a role he held until two years ago. He was also appointed Life Time Honorary President of the organization, which provides a legal framework and regulations for its 26 member diamond bourses.
