HRD Launches New Hearts & Arrows Grading System

HRD Antwerp NV has begun implementing its new measuring system for Hearts and Arrows diamonds, ‘Hearts and Arrows by HRD Antwerp,’ into its grading operations.
“The newly developed automatic measuring device and software provides objective criteria and repeatable results, according to which HRD Antwerp can now determine with more accuracy whether a diamond meets its ‘Hearts & Arrows’ standard,” HRD said in a release.
In addition to the new grading service, the lab will also provide feedback and production guidelines for the Hearts & Arrows pattern.
A special seminar will be held at HRD Antwerp on June 26 at 5pm to explain the technical guidelines of the system.
