Sarin CEO Leshem Leaves Post

Zeev Leshem, the chief executive officer of Sarin, has left his post at the diamond tool making company, Sarin announced Monday. A successor was not named.

In a note to investors, the company said the resignation of Leshem, 61, is “in line with the board of directors setting the appropriate strategy as well as short and long term goals for the Company in its ongoing management of the current worldwide economic situation and the resulting general market condition.”

The board of directors did not appoint a new CEO. Its executive committee will temporarily assume the responsibilities of the CEO.

The company also announced that Aharon Shapira, a non-executive director, has resigned from the board of directors.
