GIA Joins the Responsible Jewellery Council

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has joined the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) membership.
Focused on building a responsible supply chain from mine to retail, the RJC has over 100 members, representing all sectors of the jewelry supply chain, trade associations and service providers. Members must uphold RJC Code of Practices and undergo third-party auditing to become certified.
The RJC is an international non-profit organization committed to promoting responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices in a transparent and accountable manner throughout the industry from mine to retail.
