JFC Appoints New Board

Jewelers for Children (JFC), a jewelry industry charity founded with the mission of helping children in need, elected a new board of directors. The newly elected president of JFC is Ed Bridge of Ben Bridge Jeweler.
Other incoming officers are Ruth Batson of the American Gem Society (AGS), vice president for charity programs; Terry Chandler of the Diamond Council of America, vice president of special programs; Peter Engel of Fred Meyer Jewelers, vice president for fundraising; Joel Schechter of Honora, vice president of marketing and public relations; John Green of Lux Bond & Green, treasurer and Steven Kaiser of Kaiser Time, Inc., secretary.
JFC officers serve as the executive committee, along with the now former president of the organization, Howard Sherwood.
