Shree Ramkrishna Supports Earth Hour

Lights were turned off at landmarks around the globe, including the Golden Gate in San Francisco

Mumbai-based Shree Ramkrishna Export has joined global efforts to protect the environment and turned off their lights at all of its facilities during Earth Hour, this past Saturday.

At 8.30 pm on March 27, homes, companies and municipalities across the world turned off their lights for an hour, sending a message on the strength of individual action to tackle climate change.

“Our generation has inherited an incredibly beautiful world from our parents and they from their parents. It is in our hands whether our children and their children inherit the same world,” Shree Ramkrishna Export’s said in a release hours before the event.

Global landmarks such as the Sphinx and Pyramids at Giza, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Gate of India in Mumbai switched off their lights in support of the campaign.
