ImaGem to Unveil Viewer for Retailers
May 25, 10ImaGem, a grading information company, plans to unveil a state of the art viewer for the retailers and gemologists. The ImaGem-Viewer is used to showcase and compare diamonds, gemstones or jewelry. The company plans to unveil the viewer at the JCK Show in Las Vegas, next week.
The ImaGem-Viewer also helps see the characteristic “blue flash” in composite rubies.
“The ImaGem-Viewer plays an important role in the sales process,” said Dr. Lalit Aggarwal, chairman and founder of ImaGem. “Unlike other viewers on the market, the viewer does not have moving parts or flickering lights.”
The ImaGem-Viewer works independently of a computer and has adjustable lighting. It can be used to compare multiple stones and jewelry pieces. It can clearly show the signature pattern in branded cuts such as “hearts and arrows” etc. Comparison of diamonds with different cut qualities makes a powerful and convincing sales presentation, the company said in a release.
