Farai Maguwu Arrested Again
August 01, 10Zimbabwean human rights activist Farai Maguwu, whose arrest was a point of contention during recent Kimberley Process talks until his release on bail, was arrested again last Tuesday for possessing a stolen vehicle.
Maguwu’s arrest was short lived; he was released the same day. His previous arrest lasted five weeks. He turned himself in after polices searched his house and office in connection to reports about illicit government activities in the Marange diamond fields.
