December 09, 10Commenting on its decision to include James Allen in the list, Internet Retailer added, “James Allen seeks to capture the experience of working with a custom jeweler by allowing consumers to pick a diamond by weight, shape, color, clarity.
“Consumers can even use a virtual jeweler’s loupe to see the jewel’s fine details. The site also presents high-resolution 3-D images that enable the consumer to gauge what the item will look like in person.”
Other sites on the list are Amazon.com, Groupon.com and AmericanApparel.com. James Allen was the only jewelry retailer chosen to be on the renowned list.
In August, James Allen launched a revamped site. Through the development of never-before-seen 3D technology, and by providing customers with real diamond photos, James Allen has found a way to recreate the magic of the in-store shopping experience.
