RJC Certifies Rubel & Ménasché
January 31, 11(IDEX Online News) - French diamond trader, Rubel & Ménasché, has been certified against the ethical, human rights, social and environmental standards as established by the Responsible Jewellery Council’s (RJC) Certification System.
Rubel & Ménasché was established in 1998 by the merging of two renowned houses: Rubel (founded in 1952), and Ménasché France (founded in 1950). Well known as the leading company in the “purish” diamond stones, Rubel & Ménasché is specialized in the highest quality products, well cut, D to H, IF to VS diamonds.
The company polishes its goods in Russia and China. It also provides top fancy shapes and services like recutting to the most famous "Maisons" in the jewelry industry.
"Rubel & Ménasché is not working with a classic commercial methodology: our constant exchanges of information and discussions with our clients, our providers and partners, allow us to think that we offer a truly unique service,” said Rubel & Ménasché's Director Stephan Wolzok.
“Our stock of perfectly polished and consistently sorted goods allows us to process orders and ship them immediately. To provide with such service we are constantly trying to improve our internal and external process and thus have began last year different international certifications: European customs (A.E.O.), ethical and internal (RJC). The accomplishment of the RJC Member Certification was a very logical step for us to take to contribute to Sustainable Development,” Wolzok added.
“The successful verification assessment of Rubel & Ménasché was conducted by Jean-Baptiste Lescop and Marie-Charlotte Druesne of Ernst & Young et Associes (France), one of the independent third party auditing firms trained in the RJC’s System,” said RJC CEO Michael Rae.
