U.S. Marshals to Auction 43.51Ct Flawless FI Yellow Diamond

(IDEX Online News) – A 43.51-carat fancy intense yellow diamond that was forfeited to the U.S. government will be auctioned next month. The diamond is a modified rectangular brilliant cut and internally flawless.
The minimum bid for this 43.51-carat yellow diamond starts at $900,000. Bidding takes place September 6-8.
Bid4Assets, an online auction company, will auction the diamond on behalf of the U.S. Marshals Service. Diamond can be examined during the week of August 29 in Cleveland, Ohio. The USMS requires that bidders submit a refundable pre-bid deposit of $180,000 prior to placing a bid.
