De Beers Q3 Diamond Production Up 3%

(IDEX Online News) – De Beers mined 9.3 million carats of diamonds in the third quarter ending September 30, a 3 percent year-over-year increase. Compared to the second quarter of the year, production increased 14 percent.
The figures were included in Anglo American's third quarter production report. Anglo is a 45 percent stakeholder of De Beers.
