Sarin Introduces New Diamond Marking Device

(IDEX Online News) – Sarin Technologies has launched the DiaMark HD system, the missing link in a comprehensive high definition suite of facet polishing quality control instruments.

The DiaMark HD is a hardware add-on to the DiaMension HD. It is equipped with a laser specifically designed for the diamond industry, which produces extremely fine markings that are removed in the ensuing polishing stages.

The device’s markings, generated by the Instructor software, provide an easy to-follow blueprint that allows the polisher to accurately execute the prescribed polishing work without manual means of documenting it or relying on memory, according to the company.

“The DiaMark HD now creates a truly powerful tool suite for the optimization of the faceting, polishing and finishing processes of the diamond, by enabling polishers to accurately execute the Instructor’s guidelines,” the company said in a release.

Sarin CEO Uzi Levami said the “DiaMark HD provides a unique tool that easily and effectively guides polishing personnel on how to accurately implement the Instructor corrective and/or refinement actions required, on a per-facet basis, including sophisticated asymmetrical polishing, so as to achieve the highest possible value from each polished diamond.”
