Forevermark Taps Kazuo Nomura As Japan MD
February 09, 12(IDEX Online News) – Forevermark, the diamond brand from De Beers, today (Thursday) announced the appointment of retail director Kazuo Nomura as managing director of Forevermark for Japan. Nomura succeeds David Rudlin who, prior to managing the launch of the Forevermark, was the DTC marketing programme.
“Kazuo Nomura brings a considerable 31 years of industry experience, the last 17...within the De Beers group, to this leadership role. Kaz has worked on the Forevermark brand since launch and is perfectly placed to help develop the diamond brand’s position within the Japanese market,” said Forevermark global CEO Stephen Lussier.
Lussier added that Nomura’s in-depth knowledge of the Japanese diamond industry, especially from a retail perspective, made his eminently suitable to take Forevermark forward.
Nomura will take on formal responsibility as managing director of Japan from April 2012.
