Alrosa Sales +21% in Jan-Feb

Alrosa said it expects to sell rough and polished diamonds worth $1,123 million in the first quarter of the year, setting a goal of $429 million for March.
The company said it is seeing a steadily growing global demand for rough diamonds.
Since the beginning of the year, demand for polished diamonds and diamond jewelry has grown by 8 percent -12 percent with a slight drop in global diamond production, according to the company.
